Controller and contact

BestCart AI operates this site and determines how the first-party site and lead data described below is used. Use the protected form on this page for access, correction, objection, portability, restriction, or deletion requests. We may ask you to verify control of the submitted email before acting on a request.

What we collect

We record first-party usage events such as page views, searches, product clicks, affiliate redirects, form interactions, approximate country, browser information, referring origin, and a salted hash of the requesting IP address. We do not retain the full request query string in server event context. If you submit a buying-help or price-alert form, we also store the email and product details you provide.

Why we use it

We use this information to operate the shopping tools, preserve price-watch or buying-help requests, measure which pages and deals are useful, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve commercial relevance. Saving a request does not guarantee continuous price monitoring or automatic email delivery.

Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your request or consent for product-specific follow-up, our legitimate interests in operating, securing, measuring, and improving the service for limited first-party analytics, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests by using the contact below.

Where it goes

Site events and leads may be stored on our self-hosted server. A CRM, lead-alert webhook, or event webhook receives data only when the operator explicitly configures that integration; those providers may process data in another country for hosting or follow-up. Opening an outbound link sends you to AliExpress or another disclosed affiliate destination, whose own privacy terms then apply.

Local browser data

The site may use local storage for attribution, recently viewed products, wishlists, referral parameters, and interface preferences. You can clear that data in your browser settings.

Retention and security

The default operational retention window for daily analytics and lead files is 180 days, after which the retention helper deletes expired files. A shorter period may apply after a verified deletion request, while a longer period may apply where needed for security, disputes, backups, or legal obligations. Lead files and backups are access-controlled because they contain email addresses; analytics logs store email hashes instead of raw email.

Your choices

You can avoid submitting a form and still browse public guides, clear browser storage at any time, and object to or withdraw future follow-up. Use the form below to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or information about configured processors. You may also raise a concern with the data-protection authority that applies where you live.

Exercise a privacy right

This request is written only to the protected first-party queue; it is not sent to configured marketing, CRM, or alert webhooks.

See the affiliate disclosure for details about sponsored outbound links.
